Refund Policy

At The Plated Catering Co., your satisfaction is our priority. While we do our best to deliver exceptional food and service, we understand that plans can change. Please review our refund policy below for details regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds.

 

Order Cancellations & Refunds

 

Full-Service Catering Orders

  • 14+ days before the event
    A full refund will be issued, minus any non-refundable deposits or incurred costs (e.g., custom orders, rentals, etc.).

  • 7–13 days before the event
    A 50% refund will be issued.

  • Less than 7 days before the event
    No refund will be issued. However, we may offer partial credit toward a future service depending on the situation.

 

Drop-Off Catering Orders

  • 72+ hours before delivery
    A full refund will be issued.

  • Less than 72 hours before delivery
    No refund will be issued, as food preparation may already be underway.

 

Private Chef Services

  • 7+ days before the scheduled service
    A full refund will be issued, minus any non-refundable deposit.

  • 3–6 days before the scheduled service
    A 50% refund will be issued.

  • Less than 72 hours before the scheduled service
    No refund will be issued.

 
Rescheduling

We allow one complimentary reschedule if requested at least 72 hours in advance. Additional reschedules or last-minute changes may incur a fee or be treated as a cancellation.

 

Non-Refundable Fees

  • All deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • Fees for custom menu items, rentals, or third-party services are non-refundable once ordered or confirmed.

 

No-Shows or Missed Events

Failure to provide access to the venue or absence of an authorized person to accept delivery will result in forfeiture of all payments.

 

Event Rescheduling

We are happy to work with you to reschedule your event, subject to availability. In most cases, deposits can be applied toward a new date within 6 months of the original event.

 

Refund Processing

If your cancellation qualifies for a refund, it will be processed within 7–10 business days to your original method of payment.
